Our company will be organizing one of the most important events in Romania, held in October 2012. The selected person will have a key position in implementing the company’s strategy for this conference. This event will have wide national and international exposure and its purpose is to bring together hundreds of top decision makers in Romania and abroad.
Identify and contact potential sponsors, collaborators or other organizations or people who would be interested in participating in the event;
Arrange and attend meetings with potential sponsors, collaborators or other organizations or people who would be interested in the event;
Present, promote and demonstrate the event’s advantages to potential sponsors and collaborators in order to build partnerships;
Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project;
Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents;
Complete work breakdown structure to estimate effort required for each task;
Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations;
Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans;

The ideal candidate has experience within marketing, communications and sales, and have a strong project management background ideally within events, media, both social and public relations (preferably over 3 years);
University degree;
Excellent usage of English in writing, reading, understanding (formal and corporate use); other languages are an advantage;
Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook;
Ability to form strong relationships with potential sponsors, collaborators or other organizations or people who would be interested in participating in the event and represent the company professionally;
Strong written and oral communication skills in presenting, promoting and demonstrating the advantages of the event;
Experience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment is essential;
Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities;
Reacts to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently;
Flexible during times of change;
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial;
